Live Music Where the Ocean Meets the Stage

Long Island's legendary open-air amphitheater brings world-class concerts to the shores of Jones Beach.

About Us

Right on the water at Jones Beach State Park, this 15,000-seat amphitheater has been the soundtrack to Long Island summers for decades. The salt air rolls in off the Atlantic while chart-topping artists take the stage, and that combination is something no indoor arena can replicate. Rated 4.6 stars across nearly 5,000 reviews, it earns that reputation night after night.

Spend a day on the sand, then walk over for showtime. That's the move locals know well, and it's exactly why Northwell at Jones Beach Theater draws fans from across the tri-state area. The venue is compact enough that there isn't a bad sightline, yet large enough to host the biggest names in music. Guests who saw the Beach Boys here will tell you the setting made the show twice as good.

The staff keeps the experience smooth. Bathrooms are consistently clean, ushers are genuinely helpful, and the layout is easy to read even on your first visit. Come hungry if you like, but budget accordingly because concession prices run steep. The real value is the view, the breeze, and a concert memory tied to one of the most iconic stretches of the New York coastline.

What We Offer

Northwell at Jones Beach Theater hosts a full summer season of major touring acts spanning rock, pop, country, hip-hop, and everything in between. The covered pavilion seats roughly 8,500, with an open lawn beyond that holds thousands more for a relaxed, blanket-and-friends vibe. Both sections deliver excellent sound thanks to a professional-grade PA system calibrated for outdoor performance.

Beyond general admission and reserved seating, the venue offers premium floor packages, VIP hospitality areas, and accessible accommodations throughout. Parking is available directly on the Jones Beach causeway, and the venue is reachable via LIRR to Freeport with shuttle service on select nights. Multiple concession stands serve food, beer, wine, and cocktails so you never have to miss more than a few minutes of the set.

Private event and corporate buyout inquiries are handled through the venue's dedicated event team. Whether your group is 50 or 500, the waterfront setting gives any event a backdrop that conference rooms simply cannot match.

"Absolutely amazing beautiful venue.. And I cannot thank the jones beach box office enough for honoring tickets for my credit from three years ago. They gave us third row seating ..who doesn't love a concert in a beautiful, clean stadium outside on the water where there's a beautiful breeze and amazing people. Nice staff.. We saw The Who.. It was the most incredible night ever.. The sound was amazing and these guys for being a band who are eighty years old, they rocked the house like they were twenty.. If you haven't seen a show down at jones beach) do it.. It's good for your soul"

"This was a beautiful concert venue! The venue is right on the water! We sat in Orchestra E (lower level, right of stage) and had a beautiful view of the stage, the screen and the water! They have a nice set up for food, beverages, restrooms and merch. I was thrilled to be so close to the water! The video clips show the proximity. Cons: Traffic was awful and the ride share drivers had to drop us off and pick us up in a parking lot that was a good distance away, instead of closer to the door. Also ride share prices SURGED to an insane amount. It was $100 for a 10 min ride to the train station after the concert. I don't think that part is on the venue but just an FYI for planning purposes."
